In memoriam

"Saturday, March 17 2012, Jan Andriessen, our CEO for the last 18 years, passed away in the presence of his close family.
Jan was 62 years old.

Under his leadership, the company grew to tenfold the size that it had when he started with Cordstrap in 1994.
He has been an inspiring leader for everyone who worked with him and also outside our company he contributed to many initiatives for the good cause. His immense energy levels have always "infected" many people.

We will remember Jan as an appreciated colleague who cared for the business but also for the person behind the performance. He also always carried the responsibility for those depending on our employees with dignity.

We express our sincerest condolences and wish Nel, Ronald & Lonneke, and Luca a lot of strength in this difficult period.

Jan, we will continue to make you proud of the company!"

"Jan's tasks and duties have been taken over by Martin Prins.

Martin joined Cordstrap in January 1992 as Chief Accountant and IT manager.

The last 15 years, he has filled in the role of Chief Financial Officer and was co-responsible for the expansion of Cordstrap into a lot of new countries turning Cordstrap into a global player in our field.

Upon Jan's decease Martin was appointed Group Managing Director and CEO ad interim.

Together with a fantastic team of people, Martin will ensure that everyone at Cordstrap will continue to support our customers worldwide with the best possible service and products.

We will consistently remain "Your partner in cargo securing systems!"
