Salvis Krumins, Cordstrap Baltic States
Salvis became part of the Cordstrap family in 1997 when he started as a Sales Representative for our partner Baltic Strapping in Latvia. In 2001 we started a joint venture with Baltic Strapping and Salvis became Commercial Manager of SIA Cordstrap Baltic. Salvis was born and raised in Latvia and currently lives in Riga with his wife and children. Salvis: “It is my responsibility to activate sales in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. We are consistently looking for new opportunities in different fields. I like working with my colleagues and our products. Gert-Henk van Gammeren, Cordstrap Benelux
Gert-Henk joined us in 2010 as Commercial Manager of Cordstrap Benelux. He works at our headquarters in The Netherlands. Gert-Henk is Dutch and lives with his family in Hendrik Ido Ambacht in The Netherlands. Gert-Henk: “I am responsible for the overall business within Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. Furthermore, I manage our Internal Sales support team and team of Area Sales Managers. What I like most about working for Cordstrap is the product we sell, the market we operate in and the possibilities to do business in the right way. Egidio Melotto, Cordstrap Brazil
Our latest family member to ‘officially’ join us is Egidio Melotto. Egidio is co-founder of Astro Tecnologia in Brazil. This company was founded in 1998 and has been our partner since. In 2011 Cordstrap and Astro started a joint venture and Egidio became General Manager of the newly founded company Cordstrap do Brasil. Born and raised in this country, he currently lives in the city of Porte Alegre with his wife and children. As General Manager he is responsible for developing our Brazilian organization. Together with his dedicated team of Cordstrap experts, he is implementing a high standard level of service and resources for our customers in this part of the world. Egidio: “As General Manager of Cordstrap do Brasil I have the opportunity to face new challenges and at the same time the pleasure to implement a company completely focussed on cargo securing systems. Cordstrap do Brasil already has an extensive customer portfolio. Part of this results from the important and previous work done by Astro Tecnologia. Andre van Hoornaar, Cordstrap China
Andre has been with our organization since 1998. Born in Australia but raised in The Netherlands, he started as Project Manager for Cordstrap lashing systems in The Netherlands. Born with a desire to experience new cultures, he moved with his wife to the USA in 2002. In the USA he took part in building our American organization. After almost 8 years of living and working in the USA, he was ready for a new challenge. In 2009 he moved with his wife to Suzhou, China. Andre: “As General Manager I am building an organization that includes a manufacturing facility and a rapidly expanding team of experts to support our customers in mainland China. Starting from the ground up I enjoy working with my team and seeing them develop and grow with the organization. It’s a great opportunity to visit the huge mix of industries that we support, meeting new people everywhere every day. David Marous, Cordstrap Czech Republic and Slovakia
David Marous ‘officially’ started his career with us at the beginning of 2011. However, his experience with Cordstrap products and applications dates back more than 10 years. He used to be Sales Manager for Cordstrap products at our Czech partner. When we founded Cordstrap Czech and Slovakia, David became the Commercial Manager of this new company. Born and raised in what used to be Czechoslovakia, David currently lives with his wife and children in Prague. David: “As Commercial Manager of our Czech and Slovakian operations I am responsible for developing these new markets for the brand new Cordstrap Ltd. company in this part of Europe. I am helping end-users to secure their goods and preventing damages during transport. It is great to offer our customers a variety of products, cost-savings and provide them with security. If I would describe Cordstrap in 3 words, these words would be: Leader, Safe and Reliability.”

Max Arslan, Export
Max joined Cordstrap in 2012. Holder of both a Dutch and Turkish Nationality, Max lives in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Max: “In my position as Export Manager Europe I will be managing and further developing Cordstrap’s activities with distributors in Europe, Russia, Ukraine and the so called former CIS Countries. When I joined Cordstrap I immediately enjoyed the wide variety of industries we work with. The opportunities for personal development at this company are outstanding. Fabrice Lecat, Cordstrap France
Fabrice started his career at Cordstrap France in 1996 as an Area Sales Manager. In 2004 he became the Commercial Manager of our French organization. Frank joined our team of Cordstrap specialists in 2010. Born and raised in Germany, he currently lives with his wife and child in the city of Sevelen. Jon Blower, Cordstrap India
Jon became a Cordstrap expert in 2000. He started his career with our organization as the Managing Director for Cordstrap UK and Ireland. Jon is British and married with 2 children. In 2010, Jon was looking to expand his horizon and face a new challenge. Cordstrap India was about to open, and Jon moved to the city of Pune, Maharashtra in India. Jon:”As Managing Director of Cordstrap India I am setting up and establishing Cordstrap in the Indian Market. I appreciate the opportunity I was given by Cordstrap to develop new markets and customers, something I truly enjoy. Dario Tofani, Cordstrap Italy
Dario’s career with Cordstrap started in 2000. However he has worked with our products since 1991. At that time he was working for OPI, our official partner in Italy. At OPI, Dario was responsible for the relationship between both companies, including sales and technical operations. Born and raised in Italy, he currently lives in the city of Como with his wife and children. Dario: “In 2000, Cordstrap and OPI started a joint venture and I became the Managing Director. I am responsible for the continuing expenditure of our Italian operations. What I like the most about working for Cordstrap, is the feeling to be part of a family, to be involved and to be heard. Stefan Becker, Cordstrap Malaysia
Stefan was born and raised in South Africa. He became a Cordstrap expert soon after he started working with our products in 1999. Although enjoying living and working in South Africa, Stefan was ready to explore a new challenge in a different country. In 2008 he moved with his family to the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Stefan: “As the Commercial Manager of Cordstrap Malaysia, I am responsible for our Malaysian organization. Furthermore, we also provide sales and customer support to Singapore and we are developing opportunities in Thailand. I love the challenges this job brings me and find it very rewarding to see growth as a result of our hard work. It is a pleasure to serve such a very diverse customer base. Barry van Soest, Cordstrap Mexico
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Barry joined our Cordstrap family in 2002. Starting as Area Export Manager he transitioned to Export Manager. After approximately 7 years at our Export Department, Barry was ready for a new challenge. In 2010 he moved to Mexico where he is building our Mexican organization as Commercial Manager. Barry: “It is my responsibility to implement and manage a professional sales organization with nationwide coverage in this relatively ‘virgin’ market with huge potential. It is an amazing opportunity to start up from ‘scratch’ and to see ‘your little baby’ grow up. Okko ten Hoff, Cordstrap Poland
Okko joined our organization in early 2012. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Okko lost his heart to Poland. He lives with his Polish wife and 2 children in Poznan, Poland. Okko: ”In 1999, I graduated with a bachelor degree in Business. After my graduation I started as a sales manager and soon became owner/CEO of a company offering financial services in The Netherlands. After 11 years I realized I was not using my education and entrepreneurial skills to the fullest of my abilities and that I was ready for a new challenge. Moving to Poland had been a long time dream in our family. In 2011 I sold my company. I knew it would be difficult finding the right position considering the European crisis with “moving to Poland” and “Finding a Dutch company willing to invest in me” topping my wish list. Then Cordstrap came…. After the interviews my decision to join was not difficult. I started as Commercial Management Trainee in The Netherlands. In September 2012 I became Alfred Hauptman’s successor as Commercial Manager Poland. My responsibilities are analyzing the Polish market, developing strategies, coaching employees, optimizing processes and representing Cordstrap’s interests in Poland. I enjoy working with my motivated team members. Having freedom, responsibility and being part of a global market leader adds icing to the cake. Barry Hugo, Cordstrap South Africa
Although Barry joined us ‘officially’ in 2006, he has been working with Cordstrap since 1995 and has extensive experience with our products and applications. Working as a Sales Manager for our South African partner since 1995, he has extensive experience with our products and applications. When we founded Cordstrap South Africa in 2006 with our South African partner, we were pleased that Barry elected to join us. He is the Commercial Manager for our South African operations. Barry was born and raised in South Africa and he currently lives in Johannesburg with his wife and children. Barry: ”When you are so far away from the mainstream of global activity as we are, it is so valuable to have the assistance and cooperation of so many Cordstrap people around the world. José joined us in 2006 as Commercial Manager of our newly founded Spanish organization. He lives in Barcelona with his wife and two children. Ronald Andriessen, Cordstrap United Arabic Emirates
Ronald started his career in 2007 with us as Area Sales Manager in the port of Rotterdam. In 2008 he took on an additional challenge as Technical Sales Manager of our newly founded Global Shipping Team. Ready for a new challenge in a different country, he moved with his family to Dubai in 2010, and became the Commercial & Operations Manager of Cordstrap Middle East ltd. Ronald: “I am responsible for our Middle East operations. We cover all Arab League and neighboring countries. I love to live and work in this part of the world and to meet many people with so many different nationalities. It is great to work for a company that is the market leader for strapping and lashing. Alan Green, Cordstrap United Kingdom
Alan joined us in 1996. He started as our Warehouse Manager in the UK. When Alan wanted to give sales a try, he joined our sales team as an Area Sales Manager. Enjoying the interaction involved in sales, he became our Key Account Manager in the UK. Currently, Alan is the Commercial Manager of our UK organization. Born and raised in the UK, Alan and his wife and children currently live in Henley In Arden.

Tom Keefe, Cordstrap United States
Tom joined us in 2003 when he became our first Regional Sales Manager on the East Coast representing the New York and New Jersey area. Enjoying sales and working for our company he soon became the Sales Manager for all Cordstrap USA East Coast operations. Today, Tom is our Vice President of Sales for the entire United States. For this position Tom, and his wife and children moved from New Jersey to Yorkville, Wisconsin. Tom:”I am responsible for all sales related activities in the United States. I supervise District Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and three regional offices. Cordstrap is a great company to work for!
