After the success of last year’s first conference under the Breakbulk Banner, in April 2013, Cape Town will host Africa's second Breakbulk Africa Congres. Africa is emerging as one of the world’s top breakbulk, project cargo and heavy-lift cargo markets. A wealth of resources, rising wave of foreign investment and large energy and infrastructure projects are contributing to this.

Some might argue that the manufacturing industry in The Netherlands is dead. Nothing is less true looking at the list that was published in the latest edition of MT Management Team magazine, the largest business magazine in The Netherlands. MT Management Team created the list in close cooperation with Mazars Berenschot Corporate Finance and scored companies on four elements; revenue, revenue growth, EBITDA and return on invested capital.

Cordstrap proudly announces new CEO, Brad Tribble.

Brad is American and lives in The Netherlands with his Dutch wife and their 4 boys. He has held various Senior General Management positions at large multinational companies and worked and lived in Asia and Europe. 

Cordstrap makes first appearance at ADIPEC

From November 11-14, ADIPEC will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi. ADIPEC is the largest exhibition for the Middle East oil and gas industry. The exhibition is supported by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the UAE's Ministry of Energy. Not less than 1,500 exhibitors will do their best to attract the 45,000+ attendees!

On August 7 and 8, 2012 Cape Town will host Africa's first event under the Breakbulk banner. Although not a fully-fledged show like other Breakbulk shows we are excited about this first breakbulk event in this emerging breakbulk/heavy lift market.

From May 22 – 24 Breakbulk Europe will take place at Antwerp Expo in Antwerp, Belgium. This year Cordstrap is playing a part in a great initiative by Maersk Line.
