How do dunnage air bags work?
A dunnage air bag consists of a closed chamber made from a plastic bag filled with air, covered by one or more layers of Kraft paper and/or woven polypropylene.

Dunnage air bags are placed in the void between the cargo. It is extremely important to determine the size of the bag by the void that needs to be filled. If this does not match, dunnage air bags cannot do a proper job. This can result in movement of cargo during transport, causing damage to cargo and people. These bags are often perceived as only being void fillers. However, Cordstrap dunnage air bags exert tons of pressure making them a genuine cargo securer. Check out this video demonstrating the cargo securing capabilities of our dunnage bags.
